I gave myself a goal, write 30 songs in 30 days. I started June 1st and went thru June 30th. The guide lines being I had to finish whatever I was working on that day but it could be about anything in any genre. I tried to stay open, saying a lot of whats on my mind whether it was silly or weird.

As we are experiencing a pandemic and a revolution, I thought what can I do as an artist? What can I say as an artist? As I feel this project was a self dissection, I want to donate the proceeds to the BLM movement

I truly believe ALL Black LIVES MATTER and I will keep protesting that till the day I die.

Given i Wrote 30 songs, I thought many of them were better than others... It's very hard to write that much, stay fresh and have a schedule that donates time even in quarantine. I picked some of my favs even though some may be hard to listen to.

WHAT I LEARNED: In this month, I learned to listen and really be present. I wanted to write about what was going on in the world but sadly I wasn't too comfortable about writing something I'm a little unfamiliar with. As I read books in my free time about these matters, I really tried to stay present in my day to day. Diving deep and even learning alot about myself in thought patterns, Eating habits, Family Matters, and really wrestling with my OCD and Anxiety.

Many people are afraid to live with their thoughts but there is a lot going on in your head... GOOD AND BAD. After purging a lot of anxieties and such and educating myself, I find I am seeing much more clearly now. I love you all and thank you for your support.
